I actually downloaded this just to see what it was. It is way too low level for my students, but fit one of Dustin’s ok. The only problem with it is that the student constantly pushes buttons on the iPad and closes out the program. It’s Sesame Street at its finest.
ReplyDeleteI agree Jerrie...too low for my students; at least right now.
DeleteI agree Jerrie...definitely Sesame Street at its finest! :)
DeleteZac Browser: Shut down my computer the first time
ReplyDeleteI had downloaded this last year; but hadn't used it. I logged on and the first time my computer shut down. It took a long time to load....possibly an issued with our Tech department, but I'm not having that issue elsewhere. At the present time I don't have a student that it fits.
I like some of the video’s on Zac Browser. Kind of a throwback to the good old days when I grew up with Sesame Street. For Kinder Prep and Kindergarten it has some really good level things for kids to use individually or whole group.
ReplyDeleteI've downloaded Zac Browser on my personal computer to let my own children experiment. There are some good learning applications, and some that are just plain entertaining that I can see using in class as a reinforcer. I agree with others though that it can be a little glitchy and freeze up
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that Zac Browser was also on the iPad. When I figured it out, I downloaded it. There are lots of options for games for early childhood kiddos. I have a student coming to me next year that will love it. It will be interactive enough, yet slow enough, to keep her attention. I think that I will also let my own preschool kiddo try it out over the summer.
